The Old Piggeries
The Old Piggeries is here in Uploders, about three miles from the sea at Bridport and West Bay. It's a barn conversion, which means the rooms are a good size. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own en-suite, which is handy.
The main thing is it has its own indoor heated swimming pool. It's not huge, but it's private and you can use it whenever you like. There's a garden with a patio area too.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. You'll find a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking right there. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
The stairs are typical for an old building. Not too bad, but mind your head in a couple of places.
For shops and pubs, you'll need to go into Bridport, which is about two miles. It's a proper market town with good streets for browsing. West Bay is another mile on. The harbour there is nice, and that's where you get onto the Jurassic Coast. The coastal path is spectacular from there.
Within half an hour you can be in Lyme Regis, or heading inland to places like Forde Abbey. Dorchester is about a twenty minute drive. The whole area is good for walking.
We don't allow pets, I'm afraid.
