The coast is about five miles. West Bay is the closest bit. The whole Jurassic Coast is there for walking. Lyme Regis is about eight miles drive. You can walk from one to the other along the cliff path if you're feeling energetic.
Inland, it's all fields and lanes. Good for walking. The National Trust has a few big houses nearby, like Montacute House. That's about a 30 minute drive.
It's got a washing machine, a TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. Two dogs are allowed.
