The Tack Room is in Bettiscombe. It's part of Marshwood Manor, a collection of cottages around a main house. You're in the countryside here. It's quiet.
The cottage sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The place is open plan downstairs.
You have your own patio or garden with furniture. Everyone staying here also shares the wider estate grounds, about ten acres of garden and woodland. There's a games room with table tennis in one of the outbuildings.
It's a rural spot. The local shop is in Marshwood village, a short drive away. There are a couple of country pubs nearby too.
The coast is about five miles. You've got Lyme Regis and Charmouth that way, which are good for fossils. West Bay and Bridport are also within a twenty-minute drive. For walking, the Golden Cap estate is National Trust land and very popular. Inland, the hills are good for walks too.
In terms of facilities, there's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
