This place is the Forge. It's a barn conversion in Thorncombe, on the Dorset and Somerset border. It's part of a row, semi-detached. You're up in the hills here, so it's quiet and rural. The garden is enclosed, which is good for the dogs.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, everything works. The stairs are proper cottage stairs though, so watch your step.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, living area, and a wood burning stove. It’s got central heating too, so you won't be cold. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
You can bring two dogs. There's a stairgate if you need it. The garden has a patio and a barbecue.
Thorncombe village is about a mile and a half walk down the lane. There's a shop about a mile away and a couple of village pubs within walking distance, one is about a mile and a half. They serve food.
You're well placed for getting out. The Jurassic Coast is about a twenty-minute drive. Lyme Regis, Charmouth, West Bay and Bridport are all within half an hour. Inland, Forde Abbey is close by and the towns of Beaminster and Crewkerne are a short drive.
