The Old Stable
The Old Stable is on the Marshwood Manor estate, near Bettiscombe. It’s a converted stable block, part of a small row. You get your own garden patch. It's quiet here. You look out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it’s been done up well and is comfortable. The shower is good. The main living space is open plan.
There's a shared games room in the main building with table tennis. The estate has about ten acres of gardens and woodland you can walk around.
For beaches, Lyme Regis is about five miles away. Charmouth and West Bay are a similar distance. The coast there is all cliffs and sand. The National Trust owns a big chunk of it around Golden Cap. Good for walking.
Bridport is the nearest proper town, about four miles. It's got a market, shops, and a few places to eat. There's a shop in Marshwood village, a couple of minutes drive. Two pubs nearby as well, both do food.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, parking right outside, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a highchair if you need one.
