Cider Cottage is in Hawkchurch, Devon. It's up at the top of a valley, so the views are all fields and woods. It's about five miles to Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast.
The place sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a proper old cottage, built in the 15th century, so you've got flagstone floors, beams, and a big inglenook fireplace. The stairs are what you'd expect from a place this old.
The garden is yours to use and it's enclosed. There's an adventure playground next door for kids. It's not a working farm, but there are sheep in the fields. You'll see deer, badgers, foxes, that sort of thing.
There's a village shop and a pub about a mile away. A country hotel with a restaurant is closer, about half a mile.
For things to do: horse riding can be arranged next door. There are footpaths straight from the door. Lyme Regis and Charmouth are your closest beach spots. Further along you've got West Bay, Beer, Sidmouth. If you want a day out, Exeter is about 40 minutes by car.
The facilities are pretty covered. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking on site. There's also an electric vehicle charger now.
