Cowdea 2
Cowdea 2 is a converted stone barn in Bettiscombe. It's one of two barns here. It's all on one level, which is handy.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one shower room. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean without being fancy.
The sitting room looks out over farmland. There's an electric fire in there. The door leads into a conservatory, which is a nice spot to sit. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've brought a dog. You can bring one dog.
It's a quiet hamlet. The nearest pub is about a mile away. A shop is two and a half miles.
For walking, Pilsdon Pen is close. It's one of the highest points in Dorset and the views are good. The coast isn't far. West Bay and its harbour are about a 15 minute drive. Lyme Regis is about 20 minutes away. Bridport is a proper market town, about 10 minutes by car. The National Trust has a few properties along the coast if you're planning days out.
There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. There's a washing machine. The kitchen has what you need.
