Linnets is a little cottage in Beaminster. It's detached, so you're on your own, and it's Grade II listed. That means it's old and meant to look like it always has. The main thing is it's quiet and you can walk into town.
It's just for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It means everything works and it's comfortable. The stairs are a typical old cottage staircase, so they turn and go up at an angle.
You've got a small enclosed garden out the back. It's private. There's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are here for you. You can park right outside.
Beaminster itself has everything you need. There's a shop a few minutes' walk away and a couple of pubs about the same distance. They do food.
If you want to get out, you're in a good spot for it. Bridport is about ten minutes in the car. West Bay and the Jurassic Coast are maybe twenty minutes away. The walk up to Golden Cap from there is steep but the view from the top is worth it.
Further afield, you've got Lyme Regis one way and Weymouth the other, both within about forty minutes. For a day out, Forde Abbey is very close. The Jurassic Coast Trust website is useful for planning walks along the cliffs.
No pets, I'm afraid.
