Acorn Cottage South Perrott

Acorn Cottage is a bungalow in our garden here in South Perrott. It's under our house, on the slope, so you come down the drive to reach it. You get your own patio and garden.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. It's got a bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's clean and in good nick, which is probably why it has the 5 Star rating. Everything is on the ground floor, no stairs.

The main thing is it's quiet. You'll just hear birds and sheep. The Wi-Fi works fine, and there's a TV, dishwasher and washing machine. You can bring two dogs. All bedding and towels are provided.

There's a shop and a pub in the village, about two miles away. The closest proper beach is at Lyme Regis, maybe a 25 minute drive. West Bay is about the same.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is popular, that's about 15 minutes by car. For a good walk, you've got Forde Abbey and Gardens not far away. If you're heading to the coast, the Jurassic Coast website has a lot of good information.

Because it's on the border, Somerset places like Glastonbury Tor or the cathedral at Wells are within half an hour. Bath and Cheddar are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour.

You can park right outside the cottage.
