Meadow Cottage

Meadow Cottage is in Broadwindsor, a small village in West Dorset. It's an end-of-terrace cottage, one of a row. You get your own garden at the back, which is fenced. There's also a small meadow attached to it, which is yours to use. It's not huge, but it's quiet and private.

The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star property. So it's comfortable and clean, but don't expect anything luxurious. It's got a woodburning stove which works well. The WiFi is okay for browsing and emails.

The village has a shop about 400 yards away. There's a good pub about 300 yards in the other direction, they do food. A craft centre with a restaurant is about 100 yards away.

For the coast, Burton Bradstock is about six and a half miles. It's a shingle beach with a good National Trust cafe there. West Bay is seven miles, that's sandy. Charmouth is eight miles, it's good for fossil hunting. Lyme Regis is about twelve miles.

Inland, there's plenty of historic houses and gardens to visit. The National Trust and English Heritage have a few properties around here. The whole Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site, so there's a lot to see.

Facilities: There's parking on site. Washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
