Meadow Cottage is in Broadwindsor, right on the edge of the village. It's one of a row of five. You get the garden, and there's a separate meadow behind it which is yours to use as well.
The cottage sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's the same as the example, a 3 Star place. That means it's clean and tidy, but don't expect anything fancy.
The garden is fenced in and there's a patio area. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for the colder months. Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
The village has a shop about 400 yards away, and a good pub that does food about 300 yards away. There's also a craft centre with a restaurant 100 yards from the front door.
You're about seven miles from the coast. West Bay is sandy, Burton Bradstock is shingle and has a good National Trust cafe. Charmouth is good for fossil hunting, and Lyme Regis is a bit further along.
Inland, you've got historic houses and gardens like Forde Abbey nearby. For a wider look at the area, the Visit Dorset site is useful, and the National Trust has most of the big coastal properties covered.
