Little Thatch
This is Little Thatch in Whitecross. It's just for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's detached and yes, it's got a thatched roof. You can see fields from the garden.
It's a 3 Star place. That means everything works and it's clean, but don't expect anything fancy. It's solid and comfortable. The bathroom has a shower, not a bath.
The garden is yours, with a patio bit. There's parking right there. You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine and we provide the bedding and towels. There's a cot in the cupboard if you need it.
You're a few miles inland here. The coast at Lyme Regis is about a 20 minute drive. Bridport's a bit closer, maybe 15 minutes. It's a proper market town on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Beaminster's inland, about 20 minutes the other way.
There's a village pub about a mile and a half away. They do food. The nearest shop for a big grocery run is in Bridport.
If you like walking, you're well placed for the coast path. For a day out, the National Trust's Montacute House is about half an hour by car. Forde Abbey and Gardens is nearer. The Jurassic Coast Trust website is good for planning trips to the beach.
