Cherry Cottage South Perrott

Cherry Cottage is in South Perrott, down a farm track in the grounds of our house. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. You're on the Dorset and Somerset border here, so it's quiet.

It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. You can bring up to two dogs.

The place is open plan. There's a wood burner for chilly evenings, and a patio with a barbecue and garden furniture. It looks out over fields. We've got WiFi and a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.

The village pub is about two miles away. It's a proper country walk to get there, or a short drive. For a shop, you'd drive to Crewkerne, which is about three miles.

You're well placed for getting out. The Jurassic Coast is about half an hour's drive. Lyme Regis and West Bay are good for that. Inland, places like Forde Abbey or the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton are within a 30 minute drive. If you fancy a longer trip, Bath, Wells or the Dorset heaths are about an hour away.
