Foxglove Cottage is on our farm in Wootton Fitzpaine. It's a bungalow, converted from a barn. There are a couple of steps up into the living room, just so you know.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. Because it's a bungalow, everything's on one level except those steps into the main room.
You're on a working beef farm, so you'll see cattle in the fields. It's quiet here. The cottage has its own small patio area.
The location is good. You're in the Marshwood Vale, about halfway between Bridport and Lyme Regis. The coast at Charmouth is about three miles. Lyme Regis is about five. The coastal path is right there for walking. Golden Cap is a proper climb, but the view from the top is worth it.
Bridport has a market and West Bay is just next to it. Lyme Regis has the Cobb and the fossil shops. For a wider range of things to do, the Dorset Council countryside pages are useful, as is the Jurassic Coast Trust site.
Facilities: there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We allow up to two dogs.
The nearest shop and pub are in the village, about a mile and a half away.
