Brimble Cottage
Brimble Cottage is up at Raymond's Hill. It’s detached, so no one next door. You get the garden and patio to yourselves.
It sleep four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well kept. The entrance is a stable door if that matters to you. It’s on a split level inside, so there’s a small step between some rooms.
The owner’s place is nearby but doesn’t overlook you. There are chickens and sheep in the fields around. You’re welcome to walk in the local nature reserve and woods next to the property.
Lyme Regis is about three miles away. That’s where the Cobb harbour and the sandy beach are. Axminster is the same sort of distance the other way for shops.
The nearest pub and a shop are about a mile down the road. For a proper beach day, you’d go to Lyme.
The Jurassic Coast path is on your doorstep for walking. The Donkey Sanctuary and Seaton Tramway are about a 15 minute drive. Beer Quarry Caves are maybe 20 minutes. Exeter is within half an hour if you need the city or the airport.
What’s here: there’s a woodburning stove, a washing machine, bike storage, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
