Valley View is a one-bedroom apartment here in Dalwood. It sleeps two, which makes sense. It's one of two ground floor places in the same building, but you've got your own door and it's self-contained.
It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean, and it's got character. The furniture is a mix of old and comfortable. The shower is a walk-in one. There's an open plan living area with a woodburning stove, which is nice on a cool evening. You get your own patio area with a table and chairs.
The main thing is the space outside. The apartment is part of a 13 acre site, mostly gardens. You're welcome to walk around them. They're proper gardens, well looked after, and open to the public in the summer. It's very quiet.
Dalwood itself is a small village. There's a shop and a pub about a mile and a half away. You'll need a car.
You're right on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Good for walks straight from the door.
For a day out, the Jurassic Coast is about a 20 minute drive. Lyme Regis and Seaton are the closest bits. Beer is nice. Exeter is roughly 40 minutes inland if you want a city, cathedral, and shops.
As for facilities, yes to WiFi and a TV. There's a washing machine. Bedding is included. Parking is right outside. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
If you're planning trips to the coast, the Jurassic Coast Trust site has good information.
