The Granary
The Granary is a listed barn on our farm near Colyton. It's detached so you're on your own out here. The views are over the Axe Valley towards Seaton. It's very quiet.
It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got the 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped without being overly fancy. It's heated by a biomass boiler and we've got solar panels.
You're welcome to walk around the farm fields and woodland, about 150 acres. The patio is enclosed, with a table and chairs. There's a play area for kids.
Seaton is two miles away. It's got a long pebble beach. The Seaton Tramway is there too, which is a nice way to see the area. There's good walking along the cliffs.
Lyme Regis is about a 20-minute drive. The Cobb is there, and you can watch the sailing boats. The Donkey Sanctuary is nearby, about a 15-minute drive.
For a bigger day out, Exeter is roughly 40 minutes away. Bicton Park Gardens and Crealy are in that direction too.
There's a pub a mile away that does food. A shop is one and a half miles. Colyton village is close, it's a nice little place.
Facilities here: parking for several cars right outside. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
