Maple Tree Cottage
Maple Tree Cottage is a detached barn near Street, Devon. It was converted from a barn on the farmstead. You've got your own garden, which is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and clean. Being a barn conversion, the ceilings are quite high inside, which gives it a nice, airy feel.
The cottage is on a farm with about 60 acres of its own land. You drive down a long track through woods and fields to get here. We see deer quite often. It's quiet. There are other cottages around, but each one is private.
You can walk straight out from the door onto the farm tracks. Branscombe beach is about three miles away. The village of Branscombe has a couple of pubs and a shop. Beer is ten minutes by car.
The location is good for the coast. You're on the edge of the Jurassic Coast here. Places like Sidmouth, Seaton, and Lyme Regis are all within a half hour drive. The National Trust has a lot of coastline and properties nearby.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. It's got a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and there's a stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs.
