Maple Tree Cottage is out at Rockenhayne Farmstead, near Branscombe. It's a converted barn on its own. You've got 60 acres of woods and fields around you, which is nice and quiet. You'll see deer from the windows.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after. The rooms are a good size. The stairs are fine, but there's a stairgate at the top if you've got little ones.
You're about three miles from Branscombe beach. The village has a couple of pubs and a shop. Beer is ten minutes away by car. It's a good base for the coast.
You can walk straight from the door into the woods. There are buzzards about. The Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep. Places like Beer, Sidmouth, and Seaton are all within half an hour. The National Trust has a lot of properties nearby if that's your thing.
Inside, it's open plan with a woodburning stove. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and an enclosed patio with a barbecue. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's parking right there.
