The Milking Parlour
The Milking Parlour is over in Cotford, Devon. It's one of six barn conversions on the same site, all in a row. The site's on 14 acres, so there's a fair bit of space around you.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything's clean and it works, but it's not a luxury hotel. It's a converted barn.
There's a heated outdoor pool you can use in the summer months. There's a tennis court too, and they provide the rackets and balls. The gardens are nice to sit in.
Inside, you've got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV. Parking is right there.
The place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance, and they say it's suitable for coastal access, which means the path to the coast should be manageable.
It's about three and a half miles to the beach at Sidmouth. The town itself is a short drive. There's a shop and a pub about a mile away. For walks, you're in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South West Coast Path is nearby. Sidmouth Golf Club is close.
If you want to explore further, Honiton is about five miles for antiques. Exeter is a 15-minute drive for a bigger city day out. The National Trust has a lot of coastal spots here.
