The Wheel House
The Wheel House is near the village of Wiggaton, in the Otter Valley. It's a detached barn conversion we did up a few years ago. The views are very good, you can see right out towards Exeter and Dartmoor on a clear day.
It sleeps eight, but that's in three bedrooms, which includes bunk beds. So it suits two families sharing, or a group who don't mind being quite close. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and in good order.
The living area opens out onto a small courtyard garden. It gets the sun in the morning. There's parking right there for two cars.
You're about five miles from Sidmouth and the coast. The beaches at Exmouth, Branscombe and Beer are all within a twenty minute drive. Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast are a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
Exeter is about half an hour away by car. For a family day out, Crealy Adventure Park is roughly twenty minutes. Dartmoor is about forty minutes to the edge of the park, same for Exmoor the other way.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets. There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile and a half away, and a shop slightly closer.
