Old Town Cottage
Old Town Cottage is in Sidmouth town centre. It's a terrace house. The location is the main thing. You're two minutes from the beach and the High Street. It's surprisingly quiet for being so central.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are a bit narrow. There's a proper dining room that seats everyone.
A big deal is the parking. You get space for two cars at the back. That's unusual here. Most places in the centre don't have that.
You've got a little patio garden out the back. Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a smart TV. All bed linen and towels are included. The entrance is step-free.
The pub is a three minute walk. Lots of cafes and shops are on the High Street, just as close. The beach is pebbly but nice for a walk. You can get to Jacob's Ladder and Connaught Gardens from the esplanade.
If you drive, Exmouth is about twenty minutes. Exeter is forty minutes. Dartmoor is an hour, maybe a bit more depending on traffic. The Donkey Sanctuary is just outside town.
For planning walks, the East Devon National Landscape site is good. The National Trust has a lot of local properties too, like A la Ronde.
