Wheelwright Cottage is up the top of Branscombe village. It's a stone cottage, one of the old ones. You're about a flat ten minute walk from the beach, which is pebbly. The village itself is very quiet, part of the Jurassic Coast.
It sleeps six across three bedrooms. Two downstairs, one upstairs. All three have kingsize beds. There are two bathrooms, one has both a bath and a separate shower. The kitchen is new, granite worktops, dishwasher included.
The living room is upstairs. That's a bit unusual. It's open plan, with a wood burner and a TV. It gets the evening light. Outside is a small, enclosed patio with a table and chairs.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking for one car right outside.
The village has a decent pub that does food. There's a beach cafe too. For a bigger beach, Beer is about a ten minute drive along the coast. Sidmouth town is about twenty minutes away if you need shops.
Good for walking. You're right on the South West Coast Path. You can walk west towards Beer and Seaton, or east towards Sidmouth. The National Trust owns a lot of the land around here, the Branscombe page has details.
Other things nearby: Beer Quarry Caves, Seaton Tramway, Bicton Park Botanical Gardens. The Donkey Sanctuary is near Sidmouth. All are within half an hour.
In terms of what's here: washing machine, towels and bedding included, WiFi, highchair and cot available. It's got a 5 Star rating so everything's in good order.
