Clock Cottage is at Rockenhayne Farmstead, near Street in Devon. It's one of a few cottages on a 60-acre farm, set in a valley. You get your own privacy, but the owner is around. You drive about a mile down a track through woods and fields to get here. Keep an eye out for deer.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and in good order. It's a converted building, so the rooms feel spacious.
You're about three miles from Branscombe beach. The village of Branscombe has a couple of pubs, a shop, and some tea rooms. Beer village and its pebble beach are about a ten minute drive. It's a good spot for walking straight from the door.
Sidmouth is nearby if you want a proper seafront. The Jurassic Coast is right there for things like Lyme Regis or walking the South West Coast Path. For days out, the Donkey Sanctuary is popular. There are several National Trust properties within half an hour.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a cot. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside. WiFi works fine.
