Clock Cottage
Clock Cottage is on Rockenhayne Farmstead, near Street in Devon. It's a detached barn conversion, one of a few properties on the same estate. The owners live on site but the place is private. You get your own enclosed garden and patio area.
The place sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The standard is good, it's clean and comfortable. It's not a show home, it's a place to stay.
The farmstead sits in a valley with about 60 acres of its own woodland and meadows. You'll see deer if you're quiet. The drive in is about a mile long through the woods. You can walk straight out from the door. Buzzards and woodpeckers are common.
Branscombe village is about two miles away. It's got two pubs that do food, a little shop and post office, and some tea rooms. The beach at Branscombe is about three miles. Beer, with its pebble beach and shops, is a ten minute drive.
You're right on the Jurassic Coast. Good beaches, walks, and the usual sights like Ladram Bay and the Donkey Sanctuary are close. Sidmouth, Seaton, and Honiton are all within half an hour.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. Bicycle storage is there. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on site.
