Brandy's

Brandy's is on our farm, just outside Colyton. It's a single-storey, converted stone barn. You'll be on your own but there are three other cottages nearby. It's all one level inside, which is handy.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a four star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The bedroom has a four-poster double bed and the en-suite bathroom has a jacuzzi bath. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is open plan and has a dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside your door is an enclosed deck with a table and chairs. The view is over our fields towards the Axe Valley. You're welcome to walk around the farm's 150 acres. There's a play area for children and some marked nature trails.

The farm heating is from a wood biomass boiler. The electricity comes from our solar panels.

There's a pub that does food about a mile away in Colyford. The nearest shop is in Colyton, about a mile and a half.

Seaton is about three miles away. It's got a beach and a tramway that goes along the coast. Lyme Regis and its famous Cobb are about eight miles. You can get to the coast path at Beer, which is four miles away.

For local information, the East Devon Countryside service manages the nearby walks and nature reserves. The National Trust looks after several big properties and stretches of coast in the area.

Facilities included are all the things you'd expect: towels, bedding, TV, wifi. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
