Woodland View Lodge is on our farm near Axminster. It's a single-storey lodge, all on the ground floor. It sleeps four, but there's just the one bedroom with a king-size bed. The other two would be on the sofa bed in the living area. It's got a five star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
The main thing is the view. You look out over our fields towards the woods. There's a private terrace with a hot tub. We keep about thirty cows. You're welcome to walk down through the fields to the stream, Umborne Brook. There's about half a mile of private fishing rights there if that's your thing.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. The shower room is a walk-in, which makes it accessible. There's underfloor heating. It's set up for two people really, but the sofa bed is there if you need it for children or another couple.
You're in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills. For walks, the East Devon Way is close. The coast at Lyme Regis or Seaton is about twenty minutes by car. Sidmouth is about half an hour.
Axminster is six miles away. That's where the River Cottage Canteen is. Honiton, seven miles, is a proper market town with antique shops and a couple of markets each week.

Facilities wise: everything is included. Bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. No pets. The farm track is a bit bumpy, just so you know.
