It's called Ashley's. It's a converted barn on our sheep farm, near Colyton in Devon. It's semi-detached from another holiday let, but you've got your own space. The main thing is the view, really. You look straight out over the Axe Valley. It's all fields.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy. Everything's on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
It's a working farm, so you'll see the sheep. There's a kids' play area and places for a picnic on the land. The heating and hot water comes from a big woodchip boiler, and we've got solar panels, so it runs a bit differently.
You're a couple of miles from Seaton. It's got a long pebble beach. The tramway there is good fun. It goes along the estuary to Colyton, which is a nice old town. The Seaton Marshes nature reserve is right next to the tramway, good for a walk.
Within half an hour you've got Lyme Regis, the Donkey Sanctuary, and plenty of coast path for walking. National Trust Devon has the local details for bigger days out.
In the barn, there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, wifi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
