The Pink House is in Branscombe. It's a detached house painted pink, obviously. It was done up in 2020, so everything's new.
Sleeps eight in four bedrooms. All four have their own bathrooms, so no queues. One bedroom is downstairs. Three upstairs. The beds in three of the rooms can be split into singles if you ask when you book.
Downstairs is all open plan. Kitchen, dining, living area together. The kitchen has the usual stuff, plus an American fridge freezer and a coffee machine. Big doors open to the garden. There's underfloor heating. The wood burner works well.
Outside, there's a patio with seating and a private hot tub that fits five. You also get a utility room with a washing machine.
The beach is about a ten minute walk, down the lane. It's pebbly. Branscombe itself is a typical Devon village, lots of thatch, in a valley.
You're right on the Jurassic Coast for walking. The path to Beer along the cliffs is a good hour's walk. You can go the other way to Sidmouth or towards Lyme Regis.
Sidmouth is three miles away. It's a proper seaside town with shops and things. For days out, Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary is close. The National Trust has lots of information on the coast.
Practical stuff: It's a 5 Star property, so it's high spec. Parking for two cars on the drive. WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
The local pub, the Masons Arms, is next door. They do food.
