The Dairy
The Dairy is a single barn conversion, one of six set together. It's near Sidbury, which is a quiet village, and about three and a half miles from Sidmouth and the coast. The setting is the main thing, really. It's 14 acres of shared grounds which you're free to wander.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The layout is open plan.
The shared facilities are good. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool open in the summer, with a shower and changing room. There's also a tennis court and all the gear is provided. The gardens are nice to sit in.
You've got a private patio area. There's parking right outside. Inside, there's a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in the village. For more choice, Sidmouth has everything. The coast path is right there, and the whole East Devon stretch is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's good walking country.
Honiton is about five miles for antiques. Exeter is a 15 minute drive for bigger shops or the cathedral.
