This place is in Sidmouth. It’s called The Coastal Hideaway, but honestly, it’s not that hidden. It’s a house on a residential road, about a five minute drive from the seafront.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is an en-suite up in the loft room. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s well-equipped and comfortable. There’s parking for two cars on the driveway.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you’re bringing dogs. You can bring up to two. The doors from the kitchen open out onto the patio.
Sidmouth town centre and the beach are about a mile and a half away. You can walk it, but it’s a bit of a trek back uphill. There’s a supermarket literally two minutes up the road, which is very handy.
It’s a good spot for the coast. The South West Coast Path runs through here. You can walk east towards Beer and Seaton, or west. The red cliffs are right there. It’s all part of the East Devon National Landscape.
If you’re driving, Dartmoor is about half an hour away. Exeter is maybe 40 minutes, depending on traffic. The National Trust has a few places nearby like Bicton Park.
Inside, it’s got what you’d need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, a cot and a highchair if you need them. All the bedding and towels are included.
