Castle Hill House
Castle Hill House is in Sidbury. It's a big stone house at the top of a private drive. It sits in four acres of its own land. The views are the main thing. You can see the Sidmouth valley and the sea from several windows.
It sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's decorated nicely, but it's not a show home. It feels like a family house.
The garden is enclosed. There's a tennis court. It's playable, but the surface is a bit rough now. The drive is long and gravel, so cars are fine.
Sidmouth town is three miles away. That's where the main shops and the seafront are. The coast path is there too. The Sidmouth Folk Festival happens in August, so it gets very busy then.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got Beer, Branscombe, and Seaton. The Donkey Sanctuary is near Sidmouth. For gardens, Bicton Park is close. If you've got children, Crealy or the model railway at Pecorama might be of interest.
The village pub is a mile away. It serves food. The nearest shop is about the same distance.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs. The parking is on site.
