The property is called The Piglet. It's basically an apartment above my garage, on the edge of Sidbury village. You're on your own up there, it's detached from the main house. It looks out over the fields and you can see the river. It's very quiet.
It's for two people only. One bedroom, with the shower room right off it. It's open plan, so the bed and the small kitchen area are in one space. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's warm and clean. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is good.
You're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The East Devon Way footpath runs right past the edge of the property, so you can start walking from the door. There's a garden spot about 100 yards away, next to the river. There's a small waterfall there. You can sit out with a drink.
The village shop and the pub are about a quarter of a mile away, a few minutes' walk. The pub does food. Sidmouth is two miles away for the beach and a bigger shop.
For days out, the Jurassic Coast is right there. You can walk the coastal path from Sidmouth. Exeter is under half an hour by car. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both within an hour's drive.
In terms of what's here: there's parking right outside, Wi-Fi, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. I can put a cot or highchair in if you need one. There's space to store bicycles. Sorry, no pets.
