Millbank is in Sidmouth, right on the River Sid. It's a large, detached house. Sleeps eight, four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a five star property, which means it's been done up to a high standard. Everything is new and it's very clean.
The garden is enclosed and gets the sun. It's a good size with a lawn and places to sit. The living room has French doors that open into it.
Inside, the layout is straightforward. Kitchen and dining area at the back. Utility room with a washing machine and a separate toilet. The main living room is spacious.
Upstairs on the first floor, the main bedroom has a small ensuite shower room and a door out to a balcony with a table and chairs. There's a second double bedroom on that floor too. Up another flight of stairs are two more bedrooms, both with zip and link beds that can be twins or doubles. There's a family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower cubicle on the landing between floors.
You're about a five minute walk from the town centre and the seafront. Sidmouth has a level esplanade, which is good for a stroll. The beach is mostly pebbles. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants nearby.
For walks, The Byes park is just a minute away along the river. The proper South West Coast Path is accessed via Salcombe Hill, which is right behind the house. The whole area is Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a lot of it is owned by the National Trust.
If you're driving out, the Donkey Sanctuary is about ten minutes away. Exeter is half an hour. Dartmoor is about forty minutes. Exmouth and its beach are twenty minutes along the coast.
The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage. Sorry, no pets.
