Harvey Cottage is in Colyton. It's a proper old house, built in 1851. It's semi-detached and right in the middle of the town.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything works and it's comfortable, but it's an old house so don't expect everything to be perfectly level.
You've got a small, walled courtyard out the back. It's private and gets the sun in the morning. Good for a coffee.
There's a shop and a post office about 400 yards away. The Gerrard Arms pub is even closer, about 175 yards. The Kingfisher is a bit further, maybe half a mile, and they do good food there.
The beach at Seaton is three miles away. You can drive, or you can get the tram from Colyton down to the seafront. It's a nice way to go. From Seaton you can walk along the coast to Beer or Branscombe. Lyme Regis is about seven miles west.
A bit further out, Exeter is about 45 minutes by car. Axminster and Honiton are closer, maybe 20 minutes. Honiton is good if you like antique shops.
For walks, you've got the coast path one way and the countryside the other. The river walks in Colyton itself are pleasant. The tram goes through the Seaton Wetlands if you're interested in birds.
What's here: There's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger. No pets, sorry.
