Coombehayes Lodge
Coombehayes Lodge is a bungalow in our garden in Uplyme. It's detached, so it's just for you. Sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The rating’s a 4, which means it’s looked after and comfortable. It's all on the ground floor.
The building is open plan. There’s a shower room, and the bedroom is ensuite. It faces south so it gets the sun. You have your own patio area out the back with a table and chairs. Parking is right outside the door.
We’re about a mile and a half from Lyme Regis. You can walk it if you don't mind a hill on the way back. The town is on the Jurassic Coast, so there’s the cobb, the harbour, fossil hunting, all that. It's a proper seaside place.
There's a shop and a pub, the Old Inn, half a mile down the road in the village. They do food. For a wider range of restaurants, you’d go into Lyme.
If you want to drive out, you’re well placed. Sidmouth and Charmouth are along the coast. Exeter is about half an hour inland. Dartmoor is under an hour. The National Trust has a lot of properties nearby too, like the gardens at Killerton.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. It's not suitable for pets. We do a Christmas tree in December if you're booking then.
