Millstones is in Seatown. It's attached to the old watermill, which is about 250 years old. You're on the top floor. From the windows, you can see the sea. It's about 300 yards to the beach.
It's a 4 Star place, which is good. It sleeps two. One bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. It's comfortable. You can bring one dog.
The mill building is Grade II listed. The stairs inside your place are the original mill stairs. They're quite steep and a bit uneven. Just something to be aware of.
Outside, there's parking right by the mill. The pub is a couple of minutes walk down the lane. The beach is shingle. You can walk west to Golden Cap. It's a steep climb but the view from the top is massive. You can see all across Lyme Bay.
The coast path runs right past. For fossil hunting, the best spots are along the beach towards Eype. The famous Chesil Beach starts at West Bay, which is about two miles east. The harbour there is nice to wander around.
Within half an hour you can drive to a few good places. Lyme Regis is one way, Bridport the other. For gardens, there's Mapperton. Forde Abbey is good. The Abbotsbury Swannery is interesting if you've never been.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Everything's paid for.
