Millstones

Millstones is in Seatown. It's the top floor of an old watermill that's about 250 years old. It's attached to the main mill building. You get a parking space right there.

It's just for two people. One bedroom with the bathroom right through it. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Because it's the top floor, the ceilings are a bit low in places if you're tall. You get a good view of the sea from the front window. The beach is a few minutes' walk down the lane.

The pub is about the same distance as the beach, just the other way. It's called The Anchor and it's right on the shingle. They do food.

You're right on the Jurassic Coast. The coastal path runs past the door. Golden Cap is the hill behind the village. It's a steep walk up but the view from the top is worth it. You can see right across Lyme Bay.

West Bay, with its harbour and that big cliff you see on the telly, is about two miles along the coast. That's where Chesil Beach starts. For a day out, you've got the National Trust places like Golden Cap itself, or Forde Abbey and the Abbotsbury Swannery are a short drive inland.

Things it has: a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
