Sea Drift

You're a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour and the beach. The main shops, a restaurant, and a pub are also very close, all within a few hundred yards.
The place has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. It's all on one level, which is useful. You park right outside the back door, maybe four yards away.
West Bay is the main attraction here. The harbour is lively and the cliffs are impressive. It's the coastline you'll have seen on Broadchurch. For a longer beach, you can walk east towards Bridport along the shingle.
Within about half an hour's drive, you can get to Lyme Regis to the west or Weymouth to the east. Both are classic seaside towns. The Jurassic Coast Trust website is good for finding walks and information about the area. You can also look up the National Trust for West Dorset for nearby places like Golden Cap.
