Sea Drift
Sea Drift is a ground floor flat in West Bay, which is part of Bridport. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and has one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it’s clean and comfortable without being luxurious.
The location is the main point. You’re about 150 yards from the harbour. You can see it from the front. The beach is about 200 yards away. There’s a shop and places to eat within a minute or two’s walk.
You park right outside the back door, which is handy. There’s a step up into the property from the parking area, but it’s level access from there through the flat.
Inside, it’s open plan. Kitchen, living area, all together. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
West Bay itself is a working harbour with a few beaches. It’s where they filmed ‘Broadchurch’. It’s good for a pint, fish and chips, or an ice cream. The coast path runs right from there if you want to walk.
For a day out, Lyme Regis is about 20 minutes west along the coast. Weymouth is about 40 minutes east. Dorchester is inland, about half an hour away. The whole coast here is the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline nearby too.
