Stepen View is a small chalet that sleeps two people. It's on the same bit of farmland as Stepen Cottage, but they're separate buildings and you wouldn't share anything. It's just you two.
The view is the main thing. You look out over fields towards this wooded hill. It's quiet and very green. The chalet suits a couple perfectly as there's just the one bedroom and one bathroom.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen, living area, and a table for two are all in one room. It's got a 3 Star rating, meaning it's clean, warm and has what you need, but it's not a luxury hotel. It does its job.
There's a patio with a table and chairs and a barbecue. Parking is right outside the door.
The nearest pub and shop are about a mile away in Whitestaunton. It's a little drive or a decent walk. For a bigger shop, you'd go into Chard, which is about ten minutes by car.
If you want to get out, you're in a good spot. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Lyme Regis is probably the closest proper seaside town. Further along, Seaton has that tramway and Beer is a nice little village.
Inland, there's plenty to see. The Forde Abbey gardens are lovely. For something different, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is impressive if you like planes. Taunton and Exeter are both within a forty-five minute drive for a city day.
What's here for you: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi. There's a TV. There's a shower. No pets, I'm afraid.
