Stepen View

This is Stepen View. It's a chalet on our property in Chard. You're looking out over fields. It's detached, so it's just you.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a three-star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. It's open plan inside. There's a patio with a table and chairs and a barbecue. You can park right by the front door. We allow one well-behaved dog.

The village pub is about a mile away. It's a proper locals' pub, does decent food. The nearest shop is about the same distance.

For days out, you're in a good spot. Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast are about half an hour's drive. The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is 20 minutes away, and the Haynes Motor Museum is about the same. You've also got Montacute House and Forde Abbey nearby if you like gardens and history.

If you need more space, we have another slightly bigger cottage on the same plot, Stepen Cottage. They can be booked together for a group.

We include the bed linen and towels. There's WiFi and TV.
