Greenbanks
Greenbanks is a detached house on Chesil Beach, between Abbotsbury and West Bexington. It's the last house along the coastal path, so it's private. The views are straight out to sea, no one in the way.
It sleeps nine. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been refurbished but we kept the open fire. It's comfortable.
You're right on the beach. Just walk out. West Bexington village is about a twenty minute walk along the coastal path. There's a pub there that does food. Walking the other way for fifteen or twenty minutes gets you to the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. The local shop is in Abbotsbury, about two and a half miles away.
Bridport, Dorchester and Weymouth are each about ten miles by road. So you've got towns for supermarkets and the cinema, but you're not in one.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can have two dogs. There's a BBQ and a garden. It's a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so the wildlife and plants are interesting.
