Greenbanks is in West Bexington, right on Chesil Beach. It's the last house before the coastal path heads off towards Abbotsbury. The views are just sea and sky, nothing in the way. It's detached, so no neighbours on either side.
The house sleeps nine people. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy with a big group. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been refurbished lately but we kept the open fireplace. It's comfortable, not fussy.
The location is private. To get to the nearest pub for food, you walk along the coastal path for about twenty minutes into West Bexington. There's a shop about two and a half miles away in Abbotsbury. Bridport, Dorchester and Weymouth are each roughly ten miles if you need a bigger town.
The beach is shingle, so it's not for sandcastles, but the walking is good. The whole area is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The sunsets from the house are very good. A fifteen minute walk the other way along the path gets you to the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's a highchair if you need one.
