Little Cruxton
Little Cruxton is a studio near Cruxton, down a proper country lane. It's next to our house but it's private. You'll have the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps two, one double bed. It's all open plan. The bed's at one end and the kitchen's at the other. The kitchen has a hob, a combi microwave oven, and a fridge. The shower room is modern and fine.
There's a deck outside with chairs and a table. The view is just fields. You can see the River Frome from there. Because it's so dark at night, you can see loads of stars.
There's a shed with a washer and dryer in it. It's also a good spot to dump muddy boots and coats.
Maiden Newton village is about a mile away. There's a shop and a decent pub there. Dorchester is a 15 minute drive. Weymouth and the coast is about half an hour.
You can walk straight from the door. There are footpaths along the river and into the fields. For a longer trip, the National Trust has places like Hardy's Cottage or the coast. The Dorset AONB site has good walking ideas.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking right outside, all bedding and towels included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. The electricity is included in the price.
