Little Cruxton
Little Cruxton is a studio cottage. It's next to our house, down a lane off the main road. It's just for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's warm and comfortable. It's all open plan. The bed is here, the kitchen area is there. The doors open out onto a deck. You get a view across the fields.
The River Frome runs through the fields next door. You can hear it sometimes. It's very dark at night, so you can see a lot of stars.
A mile down the road is Maiden Newton. There's a village shop and a pub that does food.
You're well placed to get around. Dorchester is about twenty minutes by car. The coast at Weymouth is under half an hour. For a walk, the South West Coast Path is easy to get to. National Trust have some good places nearby like Hardy's Cottage.
For your things, there's a shed outside with a washing machine and dryer. It's handy for boots and coats. Parking is right next to the cottage.
