The Beech Hut is a shepherd's hut on our land in Wraxall. It's in a hamlet, next to a field with a stream at the bottom. It's quiet out here.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's small but everything is there. There's a wood burner, a double bed, and a little kitchen area. The shower is separate.
There's an outdoor bath with hot and cold water. You can use it whenever. It's private.
The village pub is about a mile and a half away. It's a proper walk, mainly on country lanes. They do food. There's a shop a similar distance the other way. If you'd rather not cook some mornings, you can get a farmhouse breakfast at our B&B across the road. You just need to ask us the day before.
You're about half an hour from the coast. The Jurassic Coast sites like Lyme Regis or West Bay are in easy reach. There's fishing locally if that's your thing.
For planning days out, these are useful: National Trust Dorset and Dorset National Landscape.
Facilities: There's parking right by the hut, a BBQ, bedding and towels are included, and we allow one well-behaved dog.
