Peach Tree Cottage
Peach Tree Cottage is a bungalow next to my place in Winterbourne Abbas. It's on one floor, which is handy. You look out over fields.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not high-end. It's a simple place.
The garden is yours to use. There's parking right there. You've got a washing machine, wifi, and TV. The bedlinen and towels are included.
It's quiet here. The local shop and pub are about half a mile down the road. The pub does meals.
The coast is about three and a half miles away. That's where the Jurassic Coast starts. You can be at Weymouth beach in twenty minutes or so. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are about a half hour drive.
Swanage is close too. They've got a beach and a steam railway you can take to Corfe Castle.
If you need a rainy day plan, the Tank Museum at Bovington is nearby. Monkey World is about a twenty-five minute drive.
For walks and history, the National Trust has a lot of places nearby, like Hardy's Cottage. You can walk up on the Ridgeway from here.
