Woodlet Cottage
Woodlet Cottage is in Ashwell, just outside Ilminster. It's a four bedroom cottage that sleeps eight.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped, comfortable and finishes are good. It's not a period piece. It's a modernised country cottage.
The main living area is open plan, kitchen and dining together. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. Three bathrooms, so no queues.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio with a table.
It's in a hamlet, so it's quiet. You're looking at fields. Ilminster is about a mile away. It's a proper market town. There are a couple of supermarkets, shops, and pubs.
For days out, Wells is about 40 minutes' drive. The cathedral is worth seeing. Cheddar Gorge is a bit further, maybe 50 minutes. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is roughly 45 minutes. If you want a bigger city, Bristol is just over an hour.
On facilities: WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, parking for a few cars. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
