Grapevine Farmhouse
Grapevine Farmhouse is in Staple Fitzpaine, near Atherstone. It's a proper Somerset village, quiet and surrounded by farmland. You're down a lane off a B-road.
It's a farmhouse, so it's big. It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. The rating is Five Star, which means it's been done up to a high standard. It's a comfortable, modern place inside an old building.
There's a main living room with a wood burner. The kitchen is modern and has a big table. The garden is private, with a lawn and a barbecue area. You get the whole place to yourselves.
The village has a pub, the George. It's a good walk, about 15 minutes down the lane. They do food. For shops, you need to drive to Taunton, which is about five miles.
You're on the edge of the Blackdown Hills. There are footpaths straight from the door. For a longer walk, the Quantock Hills are about a 25 minute drive. If you want to see the coast, Lyme Regis is just over half an hour away.
Wells and its cathedral are about 45 minutes north. Exeter is about an hour south. Both are good for a day out. National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Montacute House.
In terms of what's here: all the utilities are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. We can put out a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
