This is Hollies Cottage 3. It's one of a group of cottages and coach houses here, near Martock in Somerset. They're all quite modern and finished nicely. Ours sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy.
It's got a five star rating, which means everything is in good order and well-maintained. There's a proper garden that's enclosed, so it's safe for kids. Parking is right outside.
The layout is open plan downstairs. There's a big TV and the WiFi is decent. All your bedding and towels are included.
About three hundred yards up the road is the Hollies Hotel. You can use their gym and borrow their bikes if you want. It's also a pub and restaurant, so it's there if you don't feel like cooking one night.
Martock itself is under a mile away. It's a typical Somerset town with Ham stone buildings. There are a few shops and cafes there for essentials.
If you're after a day out, there are some good National Trust houses nearby. Montacute House is about fifteen minutes away. So are Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor. Yeovil and Crewkerne are both within a fifteen minute drive for bigger supermarkets and things.
No pets, I'm afraid. And because it's part of a complex, you'll sometimes see other guests coming and going, but the cottage itself is all yours.
