Hollies Cottage 7
Hollies Cottage 7 is one of the cottages at Hollies Cottages, near Martock. It’s a modern place, well-equipped. You get a 50-inch TV and fibre broadband.
It sleeps seven people in four bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. The beds are king-size and comfortable.
The cottage is part of a small complex, so there are other holiday homes nearby. You have your own enclosed garden and parking.
About 300 yards down the road is the Hollies Hotel. You can use their gym and borrow their bikes. You can also pop in for a meal or a drink if you don’t fancy cooking.
Martock itself is under a mile away. It’s a nice little town with Ham stone buildings, a few shops and cafes. For bigger supermarkets, Yeovil or Crewkerne are about a 15 minute drive.
There are some good National Trust houses nearby. Montacute House is very close, Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor are within half an hour. The coast at Lyme Regis is about 40 minutes away if you fancy the sea.
