Hollies Cottage 1 is part of a small complex on the edge of Martock. It's a modern cottage, one of a few on the site. They're all quite new.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom with a shower. That's handy if you're two couples. The rating is 5 Star, so everything's in good order.
The place is open plan downstairs. There's a TV and the wifi is decent. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. You get one parking space.
The main thing here is the Hollies Hotel, which is a few minutes' walk away. You get full use of the hotel gym and can borrow their bikes. You can also eat or have a drink there if you don't want to cook. There's a local pub about five minutes away as well.
Martock village is just under a mile down the road. It's a proper Somerset place with those honey-coloured Ham stone buildings. There are a few shops and cafes.
For a day out, there are some good National Trust houses nearby. Montacute House is about ten minutes by car. Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor are a bit further, but still within half an hour. Yeovil is fifteen minutes away if you need a bigger supermarket or the cinema.
Facilities wise, all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. The utilities are all in the price.
