Hollies Cottage 5
Hollies Cottage 5 is one of the cottages at Hollies Cottages in Bower Hinton, just outside Martock. It's a modern place, a coach house conversion I think. Everything's new and works properly.
It sleeps seven, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own shower, which is handy. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well kitted out and clean. It's open plan downstairs.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids or a dog. You get one pet allowed. Parking is right there.
It's part of a little complex of a few cottages but it's quiet. The Hollies Hotel is about 300 yards away. You can use their gym and borrow their bikes. You can also pop over for a drink or a meal if you don't fancy cooking.
Martock is under a mile. It's a proper Somerset town with the Ham stone buildings. There's a few shops and cafes. Yeovil and Crewkerne are about 15 minutes away if you need a bigger supermarket.
For a day out, there's a few National Trust houses nearby. Montacute House is probably the closest. Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor aren't far either. You're about half an hour from the coast at Lyme Regis or the Somerset Levels.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a TV, washing machine, that sort of thing. Everything's included in the price.
