Right then. Hollies Cottage 2 is part of a larger set of cottages in Bower Hinton. It's just outside Martock, about a mile from the town centre. It's a modern build, done up like a coach house.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms attached. The rating is 5 Star, so it's got things like good Wi-Fi, a large TV, and that sort of finish. Everything is open plan downstairs.
There’s a proper enclosed garden that's just yours. Parking is on site.
The Hollies Hotel is a very short walk away, maybe three hundred yards. You can use their gym and borrow their bikes. You can also go there for meals or a drink if you don't fancy cooking.
Martock itself is a typical Somerset town, lots of Ham stone buildings. There’s a few shops and cafes. For a bigger supermarket or more options, Yeovil is about a fifteen minute drive.
If you like historic houses, you're in a good spot. Montacute House is close by, and so are Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor. All are National Trust. The coast at Lyme Regis, or the cathedral city of Wells, are both within a half hour drive.
Everything like bedding, towels, and electricity is included. No pets, I'm afraid.
For planning days out, the National Trust Somerset page is useful.
