Hollies Cottage 2
Hollies Cottage 2 is one of a group of cottages, just outside Martock. It's modern. The 5 Star rating means it's well fitted out and finished to a good standard.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms attached. The beds are king size.
The cottage is open plan downstairs. There's a 50 inch TV and the broadband is fibre, so it's decent for streaming or if you need to work.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. We allow one pet.
Just down the lane, about 300 yards, is the Hollies Hotel. You can use their gym and borrow their bikes. You can also pop in for a meal or a drink if you don't fancy cooking.
Martock village is under a mile away. It's a typical Somerset place with Ham stone buildings. There are a few shops and cafes there for basics.
For a day out, the National Trust places are very close. Montacute House is about ten minutes by car. Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor are both within a twenty minute drive.
Yeovil and Crewkerne are the bigger towns nearby if you need supermarkets or a cinema. They're about a fifteen minute drive.
Everything is included: electricity, bedding, towels. There's parking right outside.
