Hollies Cottage 10
Hollies Cottage 10 is part of a smaller development near Martock. It's modern, built as a holiday cottage. You get a 5 Star rating here, which means it's very well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's clean, everything works, and it's comfortable.
It sleeps five in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, which is handy. There's a king-size bed in one and three singles in the other.
The living area is open plan. There's a 50" TV and the broadband is good. The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet.
The Hollies Hotel is about a three-minute walk away. You can use their gym and borrow their bikes. It's also there if you want a meal or a drink without driving.
Martock village is under a mile. It's a typical Somerset village with Ham stone buildings. There are a few shops and cafes. For bigger supermarkets, Yeovil or Crewkerne are about a 15-minute drive.
There are some good National Trust places close by. Montacute House is about ten minutes away. Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor are within half an hour. Glastonbury and the Somerset Levels are also within easy reach if you like history and wildlife.
