Paddock View

This is Paddock View. It's a converted barn in our garden in Knole. The main house is the thatched cottage you can see, which is very old. The barn is new inside but keeps some of the old brickwork.

It sleeps two people in one bedroom. The bed's a super king. There's one bathroom with a roll-top bath. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.

You come in through the patio doors into the main living space. It's open plan with the kitchen and a dining area. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The stable doors from the bedroom and bathroom open out so you can see the field.

Outside, you have your own patio. You're also welcome to use the garden from the main house if you want to sit somewhere else. The view is over our paddock. We keep horses there, and sometimes the hens wander through.

Knole is quiet. There's a pub about a mile away. For walking, you can just set off from the door.

If you want to go out, Lytes Cary Manor is about ten minutes away by car. It's a National Trust property. The Haynes Motor Museum is less than twenty minutes' drive. Glastonbury and its Tor are about twenty-five minutes away. Wells and its cathedral are about half an hour.

In terms of what's here, the listed facilities are all correct. There's parking, WiFi, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
