Bluebell House

Bluebell House is in Compton Dundon, between Somerton and Street. It's a detached cottage. Sleeps eight, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating.

Downstairs is open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining table. There's a bedroom with a king-sized bed off the hall. That room has a door through to another bedroom with a double. There's also a shower room on the ground floor.

Upstairs is a big double bedroom with an en-suite. The en-suite has a roll-top bath. There's also a twin bedroom up there.

The garden is enclosed. There's an outdoor dining area with a table, a fridge-freezer, a gas BBQ and lights. There's a hot tub. We've got badminton, lawn bowls, and table tennis stuff out there. In the summer we also put up an above-ground splash pool.

Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.

The local pub is a short walk up the road. They do food.

Somerton and Street are both about three miles away. Street has the Clarks Village outlet shops and places to eat. Somerton is an old Saxon town, nice for a wander. Glastonbury is about six miles. The Tor is a good walk with views. The town has its own character with lots of shops.

You're not far from the Somerset Levels if you like walking or birdwatching. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea or Weston-super-Mare is about 40 minutes by car. For a full day out, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, or Wookey Hole are all within half an hour.
